Boone County’s musical groups include Boone County Community Band, Boone County Community Orchestra, and Fiddlesticks. Their mission is to provide performance opportunities and educational experiences for the whole community, no matter the musician’s age or level. I wanted their logos to have a cohesive look, but to also convey each of their individual goals.

Boone County Community Orchestra’s logo is about the feeling of community and belonging that comes from playing music with a group. Boone County Community Band focuses on the playing in the summertime. Fiddlesticks has a folksy vibe, with imagery and music focused on guitars and violins.

My client wanted the same clean, simple typeface with each logo, and an abstract, modern look to each icon.
